Here is one of my favorite paper airplanes. It’s a great outdoor plane that flies really well.
The longest flight was over a minute long! Even my 3 year old brother can throw this plane with good results.
This one is called The Duck. Follow the steps below to make your own!
How to Make The Duck Paper Airplane
Skill Level: Intermediate
Airplane Type: Glider
Throw Style: Not too hard
Step 1:
Start with an 8.5 x 11 piece of paper.
Step 2:
Next fold it in half lengthwise. Then unfold.
Step 3:
Now fold the two top corners in so that they are touching the center line, as shown in the picture above.
Step 4:
Fold the point down to the very bottom of the paper.
Step 5:
Next fold the point up, starting about 1.5 inches from the top edge, as shown above.
Step 6:
Fold the edges in at an angle as shown above.
Step 7:
Then, fold the point down over the flaps.
Step 8:
Next, flip the paper over.
Step 9:
Then fold your airplane in half.
Step 10:
Next, fold the wing back at a slight angle.
Step 11:
Finally, flip it over and fold back the other wing.
